Database for conferences used by hci-deadlines website
Contributions are very welcome!
To keep things minimal, I'm only looking to list top-tier conferences in HCI as per [conferenceranks.com][6] and my judgement calls. Please feel free to maintain a separate fork if you don't see your sub-field or conference of interest listed.
To add or update a deadline:
-
Fork the repository
-
Look inside the folder conferences. If the conference you want to add has a
ymlfile, proceed to the next step. Otherwise, create a new file with the name of the conference. For example, if the conference name isxyz, then create the filexyz.ymlinside the conferences folder. -
Open the file of the conference you want to update. Make sure it has the
title,year,id,link,deadline,timezone,date,placeattributes. -
For the
sub(subject) attribute, you must pick only among the following options. If you want to add a special category, open an issue and we will consider it.subcategorySubject it corresponds to HCI Human-Computer Interaction AI+HCI Articial Intelligence and AI CSCW Computer-supported cooperative work DES Design HAP Haptics HRI Human-Robot Interaction SP Security and Privacy VIS Visualization XR Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality -
See available timezone strings here. Anywhere On Earth (AoE) is
UTC-12. -
Optionally add a
noteandabstract_deadlinein case the conference has a separate mandatory abstract deadline -
Example:
- title: BestConf
year: 2022
id: bestconf22 # title as lower case + last two digits of year
full_name: Best Conference for Anything # full conference name
