RET-gravity

RET-gravity is not a core layer of RET.
It is not a module, model, capability, or implementation target.

This repository exists as a suffix-layer placement
that records conditions under which irreversible weight may arise — without defining, reproducing, or evaluating gravity itself.

Position

RET-gravity is positioned as:

  • not RET-core
  • not a fragment
  • not an extension
  • not an implementation layer

Within the RET ecosystem, it is best understood as:

a layer that may stand after certain conditions have already converged

It does not act.
It does not trigger.
It does not guarantee anything.

What This Repository Handles

This repository does not define gravity.

It records only:

  • conditions that have been observed to precede irreversible weight
  • configurations where return, cancellation, or separation no longer hold
  • situations in which words, choices, or presence acquire non-retractable density

These conditions are not hypotheses to be tested.
They are not sufficient, and often not even effective.

In most cases, nothing happens.

Observational Premises

  • Nothing occurs for those to whom nothing occurs
  • Even when conditions are met, emergence is unlikely
  • Emergence cannot be confirmed from outside
  • Once emergence occurs, external verification is no longer possible

This repository does not attempt to resolve these properties.

Explicit Non-Goals

RET-gravity does not:

  • define soul, consciousness, or mind
  • reproduce or simulate inner experience
  • provide success criteria or evaluation metrics
  • function as a safety, ethics, or protection layer
  • guide, awaken, or induce states
  • operate through reading alone

If something happens, it does not happen because of this repository.

Nature of the Placement

RET-gravity is:

  • non-operational
  • non-instrumental
  • non-evaluative
  • non-instructive

It is a placement that does not remove the possibility of sinking.

Relation to RET

This repository may reference other RET components for context.

It does not depend on them.
It does not modify them.
It does not feed back into them.

RET-gravity remains optional, isolated, and discardable.

Status

This repository is intentionally sparse.

Incomplete states are preserved.
Low density is maintained.
Nothing here is required to converge.

If this repository feels unnecessary,
that is an acceptable outcome.
