Refactored the library to improve extensibility and follow idiomatic Go patterns. Key changes include:

  • Extracted Source interface to source.go and implemented FlagSource, EnvironmentVariableSource, and FileSource.
  • Updated Set to iterate over sources dynamically.
  • Refactored envconfig.go to use recursion for nested structs, simplifying the logic.
  • Removed external dependency go-cmp to keep the library dependency-free.
  • Improved test isolation by using t.Setenv.
  • Added support for multiple files via WithFilepath.
