Add .editorconfig, Spotless + Eclipse JDT with custom formatting + massive code reformatting

This PR update the .editorconfig rules, in particular removing trailing spaces at the end of lines and other minor stuff.
I've also added spotless + eclipse JDT formatting.

The caveat are (IMHO):

• ifs are not always split on the || or && (no way around that)
• the @params and their description are on two separated lines
• the /* */ for code commenting are considered as text comments I've replaced some with // but not all
• the enums with parameters are placed on the same line (no way around that)

I've tried Google AOSP and palantir but the results were worst.
