The existing yml environment file is very specific, having build info only associated with Windows builds of certain packages. This is useful for exactly recreating the environment used to prepare the manuscript, but precludes use in Linux, which is the main platform for HPC and many scientific desktop users. I made a simpler environment file that is more flexible with the leafs of the dependency tree. It also uses the recommended pip installation method for torch rather than the deprecated conda method.
