I find it very hard to debug the replace functionality. Trying to add an options argument and a log function so that you can log what is going on to better debug understand the mechanics during development. Please assist me integrate this important dev functionality. Thanks ;)
I'm completely lost without it, as the current docs don't provide enough info or examples to go from
