Side note: I noticed that the test script fails due to linting errors in the react example. Maybe consider only linting the src and test directories for testing? |

I wasn't able to reproduce their issue but that might be due to the version of Cockpit they were using. I wouldn't say this fixes a breaking change but it does add a nice feature while still using prior behavior by default.
