add process_single_frame function to BaseRecorder

Creates a helper function process_single_frame that clears the tracked objects from the recorder, records the current tracked objects, and then processes them.

This is likely not something we would want in the API, but it's useful for my testing of realtime capabilities, so I'm adding it here for documentation's sake.
