### Project Q&A:
1. What are you going to build?

We are building a skill-building and skill-testing arithmetic mathematics game in which the player is whisked away into a dream-world and has to battle monsters through answering arithmetic questions, each within a specified amount of seconds depending on the monster’s difficulty. The educational aim of the game is that the in-game achievement of beating all the monsters and thus completing the game equates to and requires the real-life achievement of being skilled at arithmetic.

2. Which APIs do you plan to use? (You can use any APIs, not just Hackathon sponsor APIs.)

We're utilizing the Netlify API for site deployment and Firebase for authentication and database storage

3. What is your plan to execute this idea?

Our first step was to create user stories and determine the desired functionality of our game. We took time to plan our app's component structure as a team. From there we discussed team members' strengths and delegated roles accordingly. We've made use of several tools for the first time, including Discord's text and voice channels and screen sharing, as well as the Live Share VS Code extension to work on our code together. We've communicated frequently and used pair-programming to overcome challenges. We've practiced pushing to and pulling from separate branches on Github to keep our working code up-to-date and our published code clean and functional. The last piece of the puzzle has just been long hours of hard work!
