Improved timeout and retry handling

Added a timeout parameter to set the request timeout. This timeout is also used to dynamically set the waiting delay before rebooting/launching the network. The waiting delay is set to 1.5x times the timeout.
Connection attempts are now done up to 5 times (if the request timeout is not reached yet).
