Development Environment Setup

First of all download and install Unity. It is recommendable to download Unity Hub, once downloaded, simply open it and click on the left side on Installs. The window will look similar to this:

Install the Unity version of choice via Unity Hub by clicking on the Add button on the top right of the Install window. Usually, the latest LTS build is recommended. Simply add the extensions for the platforms you intend to work with. This can also be adjusted at a later stage.
Note: Any version after 2018.1 will work with DTStacks without any issues.

Once this step is completed, Unity will automatically install (which may take some time) and it is time to set up a coding environment.
While Unity is being installed, download and install Visual Studio, all versions are sufficient, please check which one is suits your purposes best.
While installing Visual Studio, you are requested to select modules to be installed alongside the core of Visual Studio. Make sure to check the "Game development with Unity" module!

With this, the Environment should be fully operational!
More information on how to set up Unity and Visual Studio can be found on Unity learn, the Visual Studio Documentation and in an older video of Brackeys
