Always download from official sources to ensure security. 🎯 Quick Start Guide First Launch After installation, ZeroMix will appear in your system tray (bottom-right corner) Double-click the tray icon to open the main dashboard Explore the features from the sidebar menu Common Tasks 🖼️ Set a Video Wallpaper Click Wallpaper in the sidebar Click Browse and select a video file (MP4, AVI, MOV) Click Set as Wallpaper ZeroMix will optimize the video using FFmpeg Use recommended apps like Lively Wallpaper to apply 📊 Monitor System Performance Navigate to Home tab Click Enable Monitoring View real-time CPU, RAM, and Disk usage 🎨 Enable Transparent Taskbar Go to Home → Quick Features Click Enable Transparent Taskbar Click again to toggle back to normal 🧹 Clear System Cache Home → System Tools section Click Clear Cache Confirm and wait for completion ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts Shortcut Action Ctrl + Space Open Quick Search Overlay Ctrl + Q Show/Hide Main Window Ctrl + R Refresh Dashboard Escape Close Current Dialog 💡 More shortcuts available in Settings → Hotkeys 🔄 Auto-Update ZeroMix uses a CLI-based update system to keep your installation up-to-date. How it works: The ZeroMix CLI tool (zeromix-cli.bat) checks for updates from GitHub Releases When a new version is available, you'll be notified Updates can be installed via command line Manual Update Check: # Open Command Prompt or PowerShell cd "C:\Program Files\ZeroMix\bin" zeromix-cli.bat update Or download manually: Visit GitHub Releases Download the latest installer Run to update (will preserve your settings) 💡 Tip: The installer will automatically detect and update your existing installation without losing settings. ❓ FAQ Q: Why is FFmpeg needed for video wallpapers? A: FFmpeg optimizes videos by reducing file size (~60% smaller) and converting to the ideal format for smooth playback without lag. It's automatically included in the installer! Q: Does ZeroMix require administrator rights? A: No! ZeroMix runs with user-level permissions. Admin rights are only needed during installation (to copy files to Program Files). Q: Can I run ZeroMix at Windows startup? A: Yes! During installation, check the "Run at startup" option. Or enable it later in Settings → Startup. Q: How do I uninstall ZeroMix?
