Reduce bundle by throwing instead of using assert

difflib-browser.js can be reduced from 26kB to 13kB by simply throwing error instead of requiring assert package.

Only thing that keeps me from using this package (and those that depend on it) is the assert dependency. If it can be removed that would be amazing
