Google Cloud

Here is the URL you will need to access in order to request a Google Cloud Platform coupon: https://goo.gl/gcpedu/OULO9K.

• You will be asked for a name and email address, which needs to match the domain.
• A confirmation email will be sent to you with a coupon code.
• You can request a coupon from the URL and redeem it until: 5/10/2017.
• Coupon valid through: 1/10/2018.
• You can only request ONE code per unique email address.

Create VM

• Go to https://console.cloud.google.com.
• On the menu, choose Compute Engine.
• Create an instance with your desired configuration.
• Install gcloud: https://cloud.google.com/sdk/downloads.
• Connect to your virtual machine via ssh by running the following command: gcloud compute ssh instance-name.
• Make sure to stop the virtual machine when it is not used.
