Enables a server to ship logs to Splunk Storm (currently in beta) for storage an analysis
A Splunk Storm beta account
- Log in to Splunk Storm
- From your Projects dashboard select Inputs
- Select Send data through the network
- Select Automatic authentication
- Copy the address provided to the attributes e.g. to your environment

},- Upload your environment file knife environment from file environments/prod.rb
- Run
chef-clientto get your node to authenticate with Splunk Storm. - Send some test data logger "my little pony"
- On the Splunk Storm dashboard confirm that your host has been authenticated and then turn off auto-authentication.
