Crosswalk Mayhem is a retro-inspired, single-screen mobile action game where your mission is to help pedestrians safely cross a busy street.
🧠💥 Put your reflexes to the test! Tap to stop pedestrians at just the right time, or double-tap to make them sprint past oncoming traffic. Watch out for wandering elders with wandering minds — and reckless drivers who have no regard for pedestrian safety.
This game was developed as part of the first-year spring mobile game project for the Business Information Systems degree program at TAMK (Tampere University of Applied Sciences). The main goal was to learn the basics of game development and strengthen our practical skills through a hands-on team project.
Crosswalk Mayhem was created as part of the YHTÄ – Yhteisesti älykäs kaupunki project. The game design integrates real-world data sources available in the YHTÄ Playbook, bringing a unique, data-informed perspective to urban safety and mobility.
