🎯 What: Replaced the unwrapped console.error call with a centralized errorLog utility in background/settings-service.js.
💡 Why: To improve code maintainability and ensure consistency across the codebase, as inline loggers should be conditional upon DEBUG_MODE to avoid leaking logs in production builds.
Verification: Validated that unit tests pass successfully using NODE_OPTIONS="--experimental-vm-modules" npx jest.
Result: Enhanced the codebase by unifying error reporting mechanisms.

…ervice.js

- Export `errorLog` from `shared/logger.js`.
- Define `errorLog` in `content-scripts/content-common.js`.
- Replace unwrapped `console.error` call with `errorLog` in `background/settings-service.js` (line 257) to improve code health and follow established logging patterns.
