Custom section

The custom section can be used to include the outputs of other tools in a report.

In report.yaml:

- !Custom
  name: MyReport
  file: ../different_tool/cool_report.pdf

where name is a string that will be used to refer to the output in the report and file is a path to the output file itself.

Currently supported formats are:

  • png
  • svg
  • pdf
  • csv/tsv
  • Vega-Lite plots in json format

The preferred format are Vega-Lite plots in the JSON format as they can be nicely integrated (all of panacus' plots are vega-lite plots) and as such allow exports into png/svg format and interactive functionality.
