This is somewhere between Apollo's and Toot!'s graphical representation of threads.

Visually very close to Apollo, at this point.

Must-haves:

• like A and T, graphically indicate what something is in reply to
• don't change the actual status display itself too much

Nice-to-haves:

• like A but unlike T, allow collapsing subthreads to skip meandering discussions
• like A, read markers?
• like T but unlike A, semi-flatten the hierarchy
