Introduction

When troubleshooting "Track to OLSA" and using Moodle 2.3+ you can download and add the diagnostics reports.

NOTE: These are provide to assist in diagnosing issues, and are not designed for reporting use of the Skillsoft Assets. This is still done using the standard Moodle reports

These reports provide access via the Moodle Admin UI to:

1. List of all the Custom Report Synchronisations
2. List all of the usage data records imported from the Custom Report Synchronisations
3. List all of the TDR usage data records imported from the "On Demand Communications" Synchronisations

Installation

NOTE: You must be running Moodle 2.3 or later

Download the Report ZIP

Extract to the report folder under the root of your Moodle install.

Using the Reports

After installation the reports can be found here

Custom Report Retrieval Log

This report displays information on the synchronisations that have occurred using the "Custom Report" option. Including a link to download the original data from the OLSA Server.

NOTE: If the link fails this is because the report has been deleted on the OLSA server and is no longer available

Imported Custom Report Records

This report displays the data stored in Moodle that has been imported from the "Custom Report" synchronisations, it allows filtering of the records by the Moodle Numeric User ID, the OLSA Username and the Assetid

Imported TDR Records

This report displays the data stored in Moodle that has been imported from the "OnDemmand Communications" synchronisations, it allows filtering of the records by the Moodle Numeric User ID, the OLSA Username, the TDR ID and the Assetid
