👋 Hi, I’m Carlos Galván

Petroleum Reservoir Engineer • Applied Data Scientist • MSc (Applied AI) Candidate


🔧 What I do

I combine reservoir engineering, data engineering and machine learning to extract value from subsurface & production datasets.
Currently, I’m driving analytics-led solutions @PEMEX and deepening my expertise with a master’s in Applied Artificial Intelligence.


🚀 My Focus Areas

  • Designing ETL pipelines, leveraging AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker) to design automated solutions.
  • Developing ML/AI models to derive predictive and prescriptive value.
  • Bridging the traditional petroleum domain with scalable data-engineering workflows and ML.
