@bigludo7 you are right, there is currently no requirement to pass the check before a PR can be merged. I'm currently investigation if (and if yes, why) this was the case with the legacy linting. For now it might be an advantages that the check is non-blocking.

But I suppose that we will require from Release Management that there are no linting errors left before the public release.
