narration_mode()- Switches to full-screen narration view and clears the screen of text. -
dialogue_mode()- Switches to dialogue mode with no visible characters or speaker label and clears the screen of text. -
walkaround_mode("location name", "point location")- Switches to walkaround mode. If the player was not previously in the given location, moves them there and places them at the given point. Does not move the player at all if they were already in the location, so calling this multiple times within a scene is completely fine.
These functions are only available in dialogue mode.

speaker_name("pigeon")- Sets the active speaker to the given name and clears the screen of text. This affects the speaker label at the top of the dialogue box, but not the sprites. -
left_character("pigeon", "happy")- Shows the given character's sprite with the given expression on the left side of the screen. -
right_character("sage", "angry")- Shows the given character's sprite with the given expression on the right side of the screen.

clear_screen()- Clears the screen of text. Does not change other state, such as the active speaker.
