The Responsive Bootstrap Dropdown Mega Menu was extended with a lot functions and can be used or replaced for your existing menu. You can potty activate or even deactivate a lot of functions in the settings.scss file. From the dropdown submenue till the fullwidth grid dropdown, the Mega Menu easily handles the purpose.
