I'm used to use black, any reason ruff should be preferred ? |

It's quicker, for one, but at a later time it could also serve as a linter. If staying with black, we could at least ensure that it's used by default e.g. in vscode through project-specific settings? (or, again, through pre-commit) |

Just a suggestion... we could also set up pre-commit and add it there.
