GmAD- Assistant stands for Gmail Attachment Downloading Assistant.It is a chrome extension which can download multiple files in a single go! One has to search for the mails using the extension and then just leave the rest to us.! All the attachments will downloaded and stored in the pre-specified location.
- Download the .crx file from here. Open Extensions page in chrome(Settings>Extensions), now drag and drop the .crx file into the extension tab.On the popup, click add extension.And we're all set to go!
+ **Alternatively** ,you can download the repository from Github and extract it.Now go to Extenions tab and enable developer mode.Click on the Load Unpacked extension button and navigate the directory where you have the extracted file.
- Click the extension icon on the top right corner of your screen.
- In the popup, fill out the search form and click Search.
- Now sit back and relax! 🍹
Note: If you are downloading alot of files(>5), then you might wanna check off the "Ask where to save each file" service.You can do this by going to Settings>Advanced Settings>Downlaods.
