Toy Store Sales Revenue Dashboard

This project analyzes Maven Toy Store sales data across Power BI, Python, and Excel with interactive dashboards and comprehensive business insights.

Power BI

Interactive dashboard with dynamic visualizations, KPI tracking, and multi-dimensional analysis across store locations and product categories. Features revenue trends, inventory monitoring, profit analysis, and top-selling product insights with location-based filtering.

Features:

• Filtering data based on store location
• KPI cards showing inventory value, total orders, revenue, and profit
• Monthly revenue trend analysis with line chart
• Profit vs orders scatter plot by product category
• Top selling products ranking
• Out of stock inventory tracking by category
• Weekday vs weekend revenue breakdown
• Profit analysis table by category and location

Technical Implementation:

• Created calculated measures using DAX
• Implemented interactive filtering across all visuals

Data Insights:

• $658K total revenue with $180K profit
• 68% of revenue generated on weekdays
• Toys category leads in both sales and stock issues
• Downtown location shows highest profitability

Getting Started

1. Install dependencies:
   pip install pandas numpy matplotlib scipy ipywidgets
2. Open Toy_Store_Publish.ipynb in Jupyter Notebook.

Excel:

Data cleaning, fast aggregation with PivotTables, and an interactive dashboard (Slicers + charts) to explore weekday/weekend performance, monthly trends, and top products.
