I've built and deployed to our test server. Seems to work fine.
Different timeouts for live vs. retry.
I've added e.getMessage() to the debug log line as that's the only indicator if a timeout caused failure. I had problems catching SocketTimeoutException for some reason.
Also added a log line for if a server responds != 200 to a request as there is no logging currently in the event.
