Summary of Changes

Hello @cleitonme, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on maintaining the project's health and stability by updating core dependencies. The main driver is an update to the WhatsMeow library to address known API bug fixes, which in turn triggered a cascade of updates for various other Go standard library and third-party modules. This ensures the application benefits from the latest security patches, performance enhancements, and bug resolutions across its dependency tree.

Highlights

  • WhatsMeow Dependency Update: The primary dependency go.mau.fi/whatsmeow has been updated to a newer version (0.0.0-20260107124630-ccfa04f8e445) to incorporate API bug fixes and improvements.
  • Go Module Dependency Updates: Several other Go modules have been updated to their latest versions, including google.golang.org/protobuf, golang.org/x/sync, golang.org/x/crypto, golang.org/x/net, golang.org/x/sys, golang.org/x/term, golang.org/x/text, golang.org/x/exp, golang.org/x/mod, golang.org/x/tools, github.com/petermattis/goid, and go.mau.fi/util.

Code Review

This pull request updates several dependencies, most notably go.mau.fi/whatsmeow, to incorporate recent bug fixes as stated in the description. The changes in go.mod and go.sum are consistent and appear to be correctly generated. Keeping dependencies up-to-date is a good practice for security and stability. The changes look good to merge.
