wowproxy is a transparent SOCKS-proxy that I wrote to be able to tunnel WoW through an SSH-tunnel.It is specially for playing on the Rebirth. In its current state the program seems to work, but it is very much an early version.

The program is built using Qt and the project file supplied is for qt-creator.

The program works by listening on the ports WoW uses to authenticate and communicate.It does this on the loopback interface and by changing your realmlist file to 127.0.0.1 WoW will connect to the proxy. The proxy will look for a SOCKS proxy on 127.0.0.1:8080 and redirect all traffic through it. The built in addresses are for the Rebirth Vanilla server and can be changed in the code.
