Version mismatch between @types/react and @types/react-dom will cause TypeScript compilation errors. Upgrading @types/react from 18.x to 19.x (a major version) while keeping @types/react-dom at 18.3.0 creates incompatibility.
React 19 introduced breaking type changes (notably removing @types/prop-types dependency as seen in yarn.lock). The v18 react-dom types expect v18 react types structures which may no longer exist in v19.
Fix: Update @types/react-dom to match the React 19 types:
"@types/react-dom": "^19.0.0"Or downgrade to keep both dependencies aligned at v18 until ready for the full React 19 migration.
