+1 I'd love to see this merged in as it'd be great to be able to turn off the gzipped storage of cached data on disk for debugging purposes. |

@timbowhite I'm deeply sorry for not adding this idea. @UXVirtual gives a very good use case for it. Is it possible that you can update it to the latest version? or if you prefer, you can give me access to your fork to update it together. |

Hi thanks for this module, it's pretty nice.
I added a new option called
gzipResponsewhich allows the user to disable the automatic gzipping of downloaded files. It also stores an extra flag called_gzipResponsein each header file that indicates if the cached file itself is gzipped.
