A basic port of Streamkeys to Firefox with MPRIS support. Since Firefox does not support global hotkeys yet, hotkeys can be used only when Firefox is focused. However on Linux, with MPRIS support, global hotkeys should work.

Problems so far:

  • Global keys are not supported by Firefox yet. However on Linux with MPRIS it can work.
  • On Firefox there is no UI to configure the hotkeys. For now we disable the relevant UI button.
  • Some configuration options do not seem to work (like enable/disable notifications).

IMPORTANT: The zip is not signed, and cannot be installed on Firefox release version. It can be installed on developer version by setting xpinstall.signature.required to false in about:config.
