PetPal is a robotic companion for pets. It is currently still under early development, with only the simulation environment and vision capabilities complete.
- Perform object detection via computer vision for recognizing cats in an image
- Wield interactive gimbal-based attachments, e.g. lasers and wands
- Feature remote control over the internet via a UI
- Utilize the ROS2 controls framework for modularity in controls hardware and software
- Present a simulation environment for testing before live usage
