Hi! I’m a Data Scientist at Sarepta Therapeutics, where I develop advanced analytical methods to leverage internal and external chemistry and biological data in support of all therapeutic modalities, including RNA, gene therapy, and gene editing.
Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I was advised by Dr. Huimin Zhao. In graduate school, my research primarily focused on developing computational tools to engineer functionally improved synthetic biology components and cellular factories.
I’m particularly enthusiastic about studying evolution at various levels, including regulatory elements, proteins, organelles, and strains.
