👋 About Me

Zhong Li is a postdoctoral researcher at GBU (working with Prof. Dr. Zaiwen Wen), focusing on AI for Math. I am also a guest researcher at Leiden University.

I was a postdoctoral researcher at Leiden University (working with Dr. Matthijs van Leeuwen). Before that, I earned my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Matthijs van Leeuwen and Prof. Dr. Thomas Bäck at Leiden University, affiliated with the EDA Lab. In 2024, I also spent time as a visiting PhD researcher in the DAML Group at Technical University of Munich, where I had the pleasure of being advised by Prof. Dr. Stephan Günnemann.

🎯 Research Interests

I am broadly interested in the domian of Data Mining and Machine Learning, with strong interest in GenAI for Math.

During my Postdoc, I am working on generative AI for Math, with a particular focus on:

  • 🌀 Diffusion Models, Flow Matching

During my PhD, I focused on trustworthy anomaly detection, particularly on complex data such as:
