Kaliel's Tracker – Community Fixes (Midnight / 12.0)

🎯 Purpose

After the Midnight (12.0) update, I personally encountered several LUA errors caused by Blizzard API changes (notably around GameTooltip:SetText and Ace3).

The goal of this repository is simply to:

• fix the specific errors I ran into
• provide minimal, pragmatic patches
• help reduce LUA errors for players still using the addon

📥 How to download and install

Option 1 — Download ZIP (recommended for most users)

1. Click the green Code button at the top of this page
2. Select Download ZIP

3. Extract the ZIP archive
4. Copy the content of KalielsTracker folder into: World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/AddOns/!KalielsTracker folder

🧩 What was done

• Adjusted some GameTooltip:SetText calls to be compatible with the 12.0+ API
• Applied targeted fixes in embedded libraries (MSA-AceConfigDialog-3.0)
• No heavy refactor, no intended functional changes

❤️ About Kaliel

This repository also exists as a small gesture of support for Kaliel,
who is currently dealing with health issues and is hospitalized.

Kaliel’s Tracker is an essential addon for many players,
and this work is only meant to bridge the gap until Kaliel is able to return,
with full respect for his ownership and effort.

• These fixes are temporary
• If/when an official update is released, it should always be preferred
