- Node.js (v18 or later)
- Yarn or npm
- Expo CLI
- A Google Maps API key
- A Supabase account for backend services
This app relies on Google Maps API. To obtain your API key:
- Visit Google Cloud Console
- Create a new project (or select an existing one)
- Navigate to API & Services > Credentials
- Create an API key and enable the following APIs:
- Maps SDK for Android
- Maps SDK for iOS
- Places API
- Directions API
- Distance Matrix API
- Add restrictions to your API key for security
The backend uses Supabase. To set up:
- Create an account at Supabase
- Create a new project
- Get your URL and anon key from the project settings
- Run the migration scripts from the
supabase/migrationsfolder

Install Expo CLI globally:

Clone the repository:
git clone -b main https://github.com/yourusername/drivacy.git cd drivacy -
Install dependencies:
npm install # or with yarn # yarn install

Create & Add your API keys in the
.envfile if not already present:EXPO_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY=your_google_maps_key_here EXPO_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url_here EXPO_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key_here
Start the development server:
npx expo start

# yarn devThis will open Expo Developer Tools in your browser. You can:
- Run on iOS simulator (requires macOS)
- Run on Android emulator
- Scan QR code with Expo Go app on physical device
