Water is available along all of Bright Angel Trail but not on South Kaibab Trail.

This leaves a total of 7.4 miles with no water access.

Fill up will have to happen at Phantom Ranch and/or Bright Angel Campground.

South Kaibab Trailhead will probably not have a working spigot.

Given both water access at Bright Angel and South Kaibab it should be possible to run the full mileage with two handheld water bottles.

A water-ade of some kind might be good, especially if the weather is warmer than average.
