Security Policy

Supported Versions

  • Only the latest version of the Stable branch is actively supported.
  • Older releases, feature branches, or experimental work will not receive security updates or maintenance.

Commitment

  • Security Updates: The Stable branch will be patched promptly for any discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Code Quality Fixes: Updates will also address instances of badly written or unsafe code that could compromise reliability, maintainability, or auditability.
  • Ongoing Support: The Stable branch is the long‑term supported line, ensuring users and contributors can rely on a secure and consistent foundation.

Reporting Issues

  • Security vulnerabilities or code quality concerns should be reported via GitHub Issues or Pull Requests.
  • Critical issues will be prioritized and patched in the Stable branch before being merged elsewhere.

Philosophy

AssemblySharp is designed with auditability, reproducibility, and strict contracts at its core. By maintaining the latest Stable branch with continuous security updates and code quality improvements, the project remains trustworthy, reliable, and future‑proof.
