This repository contains a market analysis dashboard built using Plotly Dash, which provides insights into the performance of companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). The dashboard allows users to explore various financial metrics and trends across different sectors.
The data used in this project consists of a list of approximately 800 TSX ticker symbols along with associated financial data obtained from Yahoo Finance. The raw data files are stored in the data folder.
The dashboard provides the following features:
Sector Selection: Users can select specific sectors or view data for all sectors.
Revenue vs. Cash Flow Scatter Plot: Visualizes the relationship between revenue and operating cash flow for companies in the selected sector.
Total Revenue Bar Chart: Displays the total revenue for each year (2020, 2021, and 2022) across all companies in the selected sector.
Industry Metrics: Provides average revenue for each year and the total number of companies in the selected sector.
