If you want to achieve the effect of a certain config option via code without adding it to the user's saved config, use MinimapAPI.OverrideConfig.DisplayOnNoHUD = true (Any config option works in place of DisplayOnNoHUD). Set the override back to nil when you don't need the effect anymore.

To get a config option taking into account any overrides, use

MinimapAPI:GetConfig(string configOption)
  • configOption can be "Disable", "DisplayOnNoHUD", "OverrideLost", etc.
