Changes to make mm_forum compatible with 6.2

I tried this and it is not working with current 6.2.4. Hope they will update the extension soon.

Hi, can you be more specific? I'm running in on 6.2.0 just fine. I doubt that 6.2.4 is so different. Any exception thrown? Any error?

The backend module gives an error 500, just like the default (unedited) current version of mm_forum.

Well, that's not good enough. There must be an error log somewhere. Try to go to Install and active Development mode.

Well the chmod settings have been wrong. That explains the error 500. Now everything seems to work fine, thank you!

Did you test editing your profile within mm_forum? I have no input fields, the only one is signature. Check: Screenshot

Hi,

I did. The change in
mm_forum/includes/user/class.tx_mmforum_userfield.php should fix it. It
was working fine for me.

Not working in 6.2.11.
The threads are here but when i want to post or edit a topic or... , a 500 error comes (url is not matching) :(
Ext makes a link with no domain... (he keep http://pageforforum... instead of http://domain.com/pageforforum...)

Any idea?

I don't really plan to support this any further. Sorry. Anyway, have you tried to disable CoolUri/RealUrl?

MM forum works on 4.5 with real URL :(
I will try your solution but real url is nécessairy for my site.

The point is that it's maybe due to wrong CoolUri/RealUrl configuration
and not mm_forum.

Realurl is in automatic configuration :(

I found the problem : it's not realurl but the TS :
absRefPrefix = /
It needs to be changed to absRefPrefix = mydomain.com/
