Releases: SwordPuffin/Splices
V1.1.4
v1.1.3
Splices v1.1.3
Changes:
- Added Dutch translations
- Change spell check system to use libspelling
- Use spacebar to submit words instead of 'w' key
- Remove unnecessary network access
v1.1.2
Just a few small changes in the code that was bothering me.
Also changed the icon for the last time.
v1.1.1
v1.1.1
- Added in extra points for some harder to use double letters ("SY", "FR", etc.).
- Changed the apps icon to something a bit nicer looking.
Aside from keeping the build up to date, this is probably the last feature update Splices is going to receive as there is not really much to add to the game from here. Although I may add more stuff later.
v1.1.0
Changes
- Small ui fixes
- Clearer shortcut instructions on startup
New Features:
- Added difficulties,
- hard and hardest adds combined letter options to make the game harder
- Rarer letters (x, z, etc.) give extra points for words that use them
v1.0.4
This is the first proper release of Splices.
The ui has been adjusted so that it works well with most themes, the two current word and score boxes are no longer expanding unnecessarily, and I have added support for Libadwaita.
v1.0.3
Fix issues in the styles.css file and in window.ui that made the game hard to play with certain themes.
v1.0.2
Fix an issue where certain themes would not load certain colours properly.
Also changed the tag of 'free play with timer' to just 'timed' because the old name didn't make very much sense.
v1.0.1
Update the existing files
v1.0.0
First major release of Splices.
Splices is a small, word making game created with GTK4 and Python.
Modes
-
Normal mode: The goal in normal mode is to make the longest words possible, because you can only make so many. Longer words mean a higher score.
-
Free play with timer: In this mode, there are no word limits, but you only have a limited period of time to work with.
-
Free play: No word limits or timers, just make as many words as you can.
