The Makeshift Smeltery is a cheaper alternative to the [Smeltery](https://github.com/Slimefun/Slimefun4/wiki/Smeltery). It doesn't need materials from the Nether to be crafted.
The Makeshift Smeltery is a cheaper, downgraded, alternative of the [Smeltery](https://github.com/Slimefun/Slimefun4/wiki/Smeltery) in which you can only craft basic ingots (ingots that are crafted from a dust).

It does lack some functionality that the Smeltery does have.
## Obtaining

1. It cannot craft any type of [Alloy Ingots](https://github.com/Slimefun/Slimefun4/wiki/Ingots#alloys)
2. An [Ignition Chamber](https://github.com/Slimefun/Slimefun4/wiki/Automatic-Ignition-Chamber) cannot be used
The Makeshift Smeltery is a multiblock structure, it consists of a dispenser, a (wooden) fence, 2 bricks and 1 fire.

## Usage

The Makeshift Smeltery can be used to smelt basic dust into ingots.

To use the Makeshift Smeltery, you need to put your items in the dispenser and then right click the fence to convert your items, if a viable conversion is possible.

_Note: An [Ignition Chamber](https://github.com/Slimefun/Slimefun4/wiki/Automatic-Ignition-Chamber) cannot be used for the fire under the structure._
