This is to help document corporate types in the financial institution ecosystem, in order to better categorize roles of different companies in markets. Text files can help with preparing data, documentation and information to be shared with others in projects.

Data

If you have users in companies, try to classify the different companies by what type of financial institution they are. Once you can classify them, you can see patterns in the data if they are there, or any correlations in what companies you are finding.

Documentation

Documentation is not a fun task for most people, and is probably most complete at the beginning when all the data is input. You can update existing documentation with categories and definitions in this repository, and change whatever makes sense for your case.

Terms, categories and definitions can help put information in context so categorizing information helps make data easier to analyze and draw some insights from.
