Wallet encryption is essential to the security of your local wallet.
Encrypting your wallet allows you to set a password for anyone trying to withdraw any funds. This helps protect against thieves, though it cannot protect against keylogging hardware or software.
- "Settings" > "Encrypt wallet"
- Input any encryption key > Press "OK"
- Backup this encryption key to the safe place
- You are beautiful
DON'T TELL THIS ENCRYPTION KEY TO ANYONE. KEEP IT PRIVATE!
- Generate an address
- Get connections to wallet
- Encrypt the wallet
- Backup the wallet
- Backup the Private Keys
- Restore from the Private Key
