I write code, take photos, and break things just to see how they work.
Most of my time goes into backend systems, the kind nobody sees but everyone blames when something goes wrong. I like building those quiet parts of the internet.
- Building things that feel simple even when the internals are a mess of moving parts
- APIs that don’t make you question your career choices
- Side projects I’ll definitely finish “soon”
- Chasing light with a camera - cars, cities, empty roads, anything with mood
You can see the photo side of my brain here: salmanhasib.com/images
- Very dated and (slightly embarrasing) school projects
- Experiments that solved a problem for me at 2 AM
- Little tools that make development less annoying
- Occasional over-engineering because it's fun
I don’t post everything I build, but the things I do share tend to be the ones I’d actually want to use again.
- I document just enough to help Future Me, who I treat kindly… sometimes
- I love clean code, but I also believe in shipping
- I keep a running list of ideas I’ll get to “after this next project”
If you build cool things or like cool photos, we’ll get along.
