Password Validation Checker

A Python script that validates password strength based on security best practices.

Description

The project teaches how to validate and enforce secfurity policies by checking if a

  • ✅ At least 8 characters
  • ✅ Contains at least one uppercase letter
  • ✅ Contains at least one lowercase letter
  • ✅ Contains at least one number
  • ✅ Contains at least one special character (e.g. !, @, #)

Features

  • Python 3.
  • Google Colab

How to use:

Run in Google Colab

  1. Click passwordValidation.ipynb
  2. Click the "Open in Colab" badge above
  3. Run the function definition cell
  4. Run the test cell or interactive mode cell
  5. Enter password to validate

Examples:
