…was not able to push to the public repo as I didnt have necessary permissions. Hence, trying to add it this way

Initially I was not able to push to the public repo as I didn't have necessary permissions. Hence, trying to add it this way by using git remote add upstream and creating a PR for the commit to merge with the branch on the public repo.
